These custom engraved laser pieces will last forever under any use or kitchen. They are laser burned into the wood nearly an 1/8 of an inch deep and really stand out.
I recommend to utilize a lighter color wood for the background of the laser engraving. This will really allow the customized piece to stand out.
Also consider that many people will tend to want to keep this butcher block out on display instead of actually using it. Not a bad compliment for us! But what we recommend is to use the opposite side the engraving is on. This way your friend or family member won’t be stressed out when using their board. Thats the last thing we want!
